We're done with Mission Term! Woo Hoo! It was definently one of the harder things I've done in a while. Right now I'm trying to get caught up on my TV shows and ESPN. Don't worry, i haven't gone too crazy on eating out... But one thing Mission term taught was it kind of showed how the rest of the world lived. Most people outside of america don't have a car, we have 2 or more usually. Not everyone has TV's or money to eat out. Shows how blessed we are here.
March Madness
OK let me give you the run down of things to come, and why i titled this 'March Madness.' In about two weeks is finals week for us. The weekend right after that is the week long Camp Adventure, where they average 100 plus kids a year, kids i'm suppose to be responsible for. The day after Camp Adventure is over we leave for the 'Arlington Trip', which consists of driving to Arlington from Lubbock, then to Childress, then to the Tulsa Soul Winning Workshop. The Arlington trip takes place all in about a week and a half. From Tulsa, we'll drive to our team's "Challenge Week" location. Challenge Week is a week long trip where your team goes to a city within a days drive to stay for a week and work with the Church there. Kind of like a first test with just the team alone.
No big deal right?
By the way, I'm REALLY excited about going to Childress for a few days on our trip.
Mexico City
Mexican food in American is not anywhere close to real Mexican food. I tell you what though, Mexicans can make some really good food! I miss it already... But in between the two 28 hour bus rides there and back we did alot of stuff that week. Such as handing out fliers, hanging out with the Mexican people, hanging out with the AIMers on the field there, some service work, and some site seeing. I'll put some pictures of the Mexico trip up soon on my picture website so check it out sometime.
Well, this has been about the gist of things lately. Just trying to keep my grades up and finish up class. Pray for me about the 'upcoming events' please!
