Christmas Break

These last three weeks have been spent at home doing a whole lot of nothing for Christmas break, and it's been awesome! But.... Mission term awaits us!

What is mission term you ask?

  • No Driving
  • No Electronics (as in no TV, Internet, Movies, Phones, etc.)
  • No Eating out

Hooray Mission Term! We never liked any of those anyways. They do have some grace though. Such as we can use our laptops for school work, Internet to keep up with our supporters, and cell phones to call home. The length of mission term varies, we've heard for some classes it lasted for a month, some said it lasted much longer than that. So it's up in the air for us.

One more new thing about this new term is we will be going to a new Area Church. Last 2 terms I went to Lockney. I really enjoyed my time out in Lockney, really great people out there.

Taylor,

I'm excited about the challenge you're going to have. Nothing helps you find out who you are than stepping up to the line and facing your challenge head on.

Just like our 5 mile run the other morning in the dark. You would have NEVER known you could do 5 miles had you not been challenged by your friends and then you went out and did it.

Never be afraid of a challenge and this is one of them. Get in there and show them you can handle this ...

I'm proud of you,

Dad

Good luck with the new term. You will do great somedays I wish I didn't have so many distractions.
I am not kidding when I say I thought it was a picture of Tom Cruise from Top Gun when I clicked on the page. Cool to look like him just don't act like him. LoL.
Praying for you and this term.

Good to hear from you Taylor, wish I could see you, but enjoy your blogs and your pictures. Your Dad put in several of the Morgan's pix
in his blog today. I never doubt that you can do whatever you set your mind to do. I'm proud to call you my grandson "partner in crime."
