Dear Family, Friends and Churches,
Hello! My name is Taylor Morgan. I am the son of Trey & Lea Morgan. My dad preaches for the Childress church of Christ. After my high school graduation, I plan on attending the A.I.M. (Adventures In Missions) program in Lubbock beginning August 11, 2008. The first 8 months in the AIM program will be spent in intensive study of God’s word taught by the Sunset International Bible Institute (SIBI) faculty and AIM staff. The classes I take will increase my Bible knowledge, help me share what I’ve learned with others, and understand other cultures, beliefs, and people as an apprentice missionary. I will also be involved with campus ministry, small group Bible studies, community service and much more.
After 8 months of study, my team and I will spend 14-22 months on a foreign or domestic mission field, working with an experienced missionary. While on the field, I will organize youth activities, reach out to the lost, teach others about Jesus, serve the church, and teach children’s classes. This is not only an exciting opportunity to serve, but will provide a foundation for a lifetime of ministry!
Financially, I will need about $600 a month while I’m in Lubbock. This amount will probably double on the mission field, depending on where I go. I am also in need of about $2000 for one-time expenses. I ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with me in spreading the Gospel. I appreciate your consideration.
